"I'd love for them to get the guy who killed her and do the same thing to him," said Gloria Conner, Sladewski's grandmother told CBS affiliate WTOL.
Sladewski was adopted into the family at age 8 and the last time they saw her was at a family party on Christmas Eve.

"She was very smart in school, got all A's," Conner said. "She had a shape just like Barbie…she was a pretty girl."
Sladewski's grandfather, Merrill Conner, said that the family is "trying to remember the good times" even though they are troubled that Paula died in such a "horrible" way.

"It's tough, it's tough," said Gloria Conner. "It's a darn shame that there are people in this world that are so mean. And why they killed her nobody knows, you know?"

Sladewski's burning body was discovered in a Miami dumpster Jan 3. Her body was so badly scorched it took another two days and dental records to identify her. Police do not believe she was burned alive, but have not released a cause of death.
Surveillance video from a trendy South Beach, Miami nightclub shows Sladewski, 26, leaving Club Space at 7:21 a.m. on the day she was murdered, according to police.
Sladewski's boyfriend, Kevin Klym, 34, had been kicked out of the club 20 minutes earlier after a shouting argument with Sladewski, according to a missing persons report. The pair had been been partying in Miami since a New Year's Eve Lady GaGa concert.
Police have called Klym a "person of interest," but have also cleared at least part of his alibi.
Witnesses who saw Sladewski leave the club say she connected with someone described only as "a black man." Klym is white.
Sladewski appeared in a 2003 Playboy talent search video. Recently, she worked as an exotic dancer to make money. Klym listed his occupation as a laborer on the missing person report.
