LAS VEGAS (CBS/AP) An arrest report claims Paris Hilton has denied owning the purse in which police say they found 0.8 grams of cocaine after a traffic stop.

According to Sgt. John Sheahan, while police were questioning 34-year-old Las Vegas nightclub mogul Cy Waits, who was driving their car, Hilton, 29 , allegedly reached inside her purse for "a tube of lip balm." At the same time, says Sheahan, "a bindle of cocaine in a plastic bag came out of her purse" in plain view of police in the room.

She was in police custody at the time, inside the Wynn Las Vegas.

In the report, the socialite acknowledged possessing lip balm and an asthma medication also found in the purse.

But she denied the cocaine and purse were hers.

Hilton is facing a felony drug charge. Her lawyer says he's not commenting now, but plans to challenge the arrest in court.

Waits, Hilton's boyfriend, also was arrested and is facing a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Hilton was arrested on the spot on suspicion of felony cocaine possession, but is telling friends she is not worried, says The New York Daily News.

TMZ reports Hilton has already spoken up, claiming her girlfriend is to blame for the illegal contents of her purse.

"I had no idea the cocaine was there. I swear on my life," Hilton told friends.

Last month, Hilton was arrested in South Africa on suspicion of possession of marijuana at a World Cup quarterfinal between Brazil and the Netherlands. The case was dropped and no charges were filed.
