(CBS/AP) WINONA, Minn. - Pamela Ann Fahy, a 43-year-old Minnesota woman who worked as a paraprofessional in the La Crescent-Hokah School District, is accused of having repeated sexual encounters with a 13-year-old boy.

The Winona Daily News reports Fahy resigned Tuesday from the school district where she had worked for nearly six years. She also had two children removed from her foster home following her arrest.

Fahy, of Hokah, worked with special-needs students in preschool and elementary school grades. School Superintendent Ron Wilke says there have been no reports of any wrongdoing with children she worked with. Wilke confirmed Fahy's resignation.

Fahy also is a licensed child foster care provider in Minnesota. The Minnesota Department of Human Services says Fahy has had no prior complaints against her.

Prosecutors charged the 43-year-old on Tuesday with third-degree criminal sexual conduct. According to CBS Minnesota, authorities were notified of the crimes allegedly committed by Fahy just after midnight on Sunday.

According to the station, the criminal complaint says a witness reported seeing Fahy naked from the waist down running out of an alleged victim's room.

The complaint says that Fahy admitted to multiple sexual encounters with the child over the last two months.

A message left on Fahy's home phone was not immediately returned Tuesday night.
