Pair of pink Adidas could help Pa. cops catch robber

A pair of pink Adidas, like those above, were left behind by a robber who stole $200 cash from a woman, according to Altoona, Pa. police. adidas.com

(CBS/AP) ALTOONA, Pa. - Police in central Pennsylvania are hoping it'll be the shoes - the pink shoes - that will lead them to whoever accosted a woman, took $200 from her, then fled on a neon green bike, in what turned out to be a very colorful crime.

Altoona police Lt. Jeffrey Pratt tells the Altoona Mirror "We have his shoes" - a pair of pink Adidas. Police say the robber swiped a bank envelope containing the cash out of the woman's hands after she left the Investment Savings Bank about noon Thursday.

They say the suspect literally ran out of his shoes before hopping on a black-and-neon-green-colored BMX-style bike and peddling away.
