Oprah Winfrey's last show just means we can watch Ellen DeGeneres

(CBS) - Today's the last episode of Oprah Winfrey's talk show on ABC. Everyone's freaking out! So where do we go from here?

Well for one, you can always turn to the Oprah Winfrey Network, where you can watch shows about the Judds and people who are addicted to food (my personal faves on OWN).

Or, duh, you can just watch "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

Not to take anything away from the big O, you have to admit, DeGeneres is a whole lot funnier. Plus, she dances. It makes us laugh. And those games she plays with her audience -- like the one where they have to wear blindfolds with eyes on 'em -- it's hilarious! Life is lookin' up.

Another thing we dig about DeGeneres: she gives YouTube stars -- adorable, talented and freaky -- a stage. Have you seen the dog with a trained tongue? How about the weird guy with the dream hands? And the best 6-year-old breakdancer who was just too cute for words? DeGeneres talked about them on her show, even had some on as guests.

So it's not the end of the world after all. There is life after Oprah. And, it's a funny one, too.
