NBC cancels Betty White's "Off Their Rockers"

We bet Betty White wishes that NBC was pulling her leg, but it looks as if the fate of her "Candid Camera"-style show is no laughing matter.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC has canceled the White-hosted prank show "Off Their Rockers" after its second season.

The series, which launched in April, 2012, featured White and other elderly actors pranking younger folks with a hidden camera. The show originally aired on NBC as a special tribute for White's 90th birthday earning an impressive 12 million total viewers, but it's following two seasons failed to earn ratings anywhere close to its debut.

Though White can still earn laughs on TV Land's "Hot in Cleveland," which is currently in its fifth season.
