More Time Apart for Tiger and Elin

Wondering what's going on in the celeb world?

Lindsay Powers, senior editor for US Weekly magazine, gave the lowdown on some of the biggest stars' gossip on the broadcast Tuesday, from Tiger Woods to Sandra Bullock.

Powers pointed out that, though Tiger Woods is back in the public eye, his wife, Elin Nordegren is keeping a low profile, spending the weekend on the couple's yacht, coincidentally called "Privacy," with her children in Palm Beach, Fla.

Does that mean their marriage is still a little bumpy?

Powers told "Early Show" co-anchor Maggie Rodriguez the couple has been spending some considerable time apart.

What about those pictures of them together?

According to Powers, they may indicate less-than-amorous intentions. Powers said US Weekly and Radar Online have now confirmed that, on the same day those photos were taken, Nordegren had spoken with her lawyers for three hours.

Powers said, "So while Tiger has kind of said from the get-go, 'Our actions will be speaking louder than our words as we work to reconcile our relationship,' you see that she's spending a little bit of time apart from him at this point."

IN addition, Powers said it's unlikely Nordegren will be seen with Tiger at the Masters Tournament, coming up on April 5.

She said, "We are hearing that she'll not because the media hoopla is too much and she doesn't want to be in the middle of it."

Rodriguez added, "Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't show."

And what about Jesse James, another celebrity that allegedly cheated on his beautiful wife?

It's come out that James allegedly had an affair with a tattoo model, but he has been out this week, living normally, while Sandra Bullock hasn't been seen following reports that she'd moved out of the couple's Los Angeles home.

Michelle McGee, Power said, is speaking out for the first time, saying he's a really nice guy and that he was gentle with her.

Rodriguez added, "A good friend of Sandra's said that she is not going to take him back. ... Now I hear that maybe they have lawyers."

Powers confirmed she has heard the couple is consulting lawyers.

But there is some good news for other celebrities. Sacha Baron Cohen, of "Borat" fame, and Isla Fisher have tied the knot after eight years together.

Powers said, "They eloped just about a week ago and they announced the happy news in an e-mail. They said, 'We did it,' and it was the happiest day of her life. They've been together for years and they also have a 2-year-old daughter."

Also, Powers said there's a new romance for actress Reese Witherspoon, who was recently seen with her new beau, a Hollywood agent named Jim.

"They were holding hands," Powers said. "And sources have told us that they are getting hot and heavy and he has met her two kids."
