Missing Ohio man Richard Russell, 84, found dead in Tenn., wife unaccounted for
(CBS/AP) BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio - Authorities say the body of elderly Ohio man Richard Russell, who disappeared along with his wife more than two weeks ago, has been found in Tennessee.
Samuel K. Littleton II, who is suspected in the couple's disappearance, told police last week that he had dumped their bodies in Georgia on his way to Florida.
A Chattanooga police spokeswoman says dental records were used to identify the 84-year-old Russell, whose body was found over the weekend.
Littleton was arrested last week in West Virginia, where officials found the car belonging to Russell and his 85-year-old wife, Gladis. Police believe they were both killed in their Bellefontaine, Ohio home about 50 miles from Columbus. Authorities continue to search along Interstate 75 for the woman.
Littleton is charged with killing his girlfriend's daughter. He has not been charged in the Russell disappearance.
