Bianca was supposed to be at her grandmother's house at 7:30 a.m., however, when the 11th grader at B.E. Mays High School failed to show, family and friends of the young teen grew concerned.

"I just want her to come home so she can enjoy her childhood," Barnes' father told CBS affiliate WGCL.

Barnes's father is a law enforcement officer and wishes to keep his identity a secret so as not to interfere with the search for his daughter.

Tawanna Barnes, the teen's mother, believes her daughter is being held against her will by an older man who reportedly is a bad influence with a flaring temper.

Barnes was last seen wearing black jeans, a blue Polo sweater, and blue and brown Polo boots. She is 5-feet-9 inches tall, weighs 250 pounds, and has black braids with blonde, braided highlights Tracy Flanagan, spokeswoman for the Fulton County sheriff's office told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Anyone with information regarding Barnes' whereabouts is asked to contact Atlanta police missing children unit at 404-546-4260.
