Michael Lane, British Motivational Speaker, Arrested in Las Vegas for Ginger Candela's Murder

VENTURA, Calif.(CBS/AP) British motivational speaker Michael Lane was arrested by FBI agents and police officers who suspect he murdered Las Vegas resident Ginger Candela, ransacked her home and fled to California.

Las Vegas police said Tuesday that they tracked the British citizen, who also goes by the name "Chae Saville," to a motel in Ventura, Calif., and arrested him Thursday, December 3.

Authorities say Lane is a suspect in the slaying of Candela, 44, who was found dead in her garage on Nov. 30.

Detectives say Lane is involved in "spiritual healing" and may have befriended women to defraud them.

Lane is being held without bail on a Las Vegas warrant.
