(CBS/WBZ) Cohasset - People can do crazy things for coffee. That said, it was likely not intentional when a Massachusetts women crashed her car through the front door of a coffee shop.

42-year-old Joan Herrity told police she lost control of her 2004 Toyota Sienna while parking outside the shop in Cohasset, south of Boston.

Instead of stopping, the minivan crashed through the front door, rolled by the counter, smashed some soda machines and then tore through the rear wall into the office, according to CBS station WBZ.

The incident took place at 7:15 AM; fortunately no one was injured.

"She said she was attempting to apply the brakes and it just wasn't happening," Cohasset police Lt. William Quigley told WBZ. "At this point it doesn't appear that they will be any charges. Our department has seized this vehicle as evidence. We're going to hold it and have some specialists take a look at it to see if there's any issues with the acceleration pedal or the brakes."

Toyota has had trouble with acceleration pedals in the past.
