Mary-Louise Parker stars in Showtime's hit series "Weeds," in which she plays Nancy Botwin, a suburban mother who starts selling marijuana to support her family after the sudden death of her husband.

Parker, 43, already has an Emmy Award for her performance in the HBO miniseries "Angels in America." She has also won two Golden Globe Awards, one for "Angels in America," the other for "Weeds," and had a recurring role on NBC's "The West Wing."

Her screen credits include "Fried Green Tomatoes," "Boys on the Side" and "The Client," as well as a play on Broadway called "Proof," for which she won a Tony Award, and "Angels In America."

In January 2005, Parker gave birth to her first child, William Atticus Parker, at age 39, with her former boyfriend of eight years, Billy Crudup. The two started a relationship after they starred opposite each other in a play in 1996. The couple split when Parker was seven months pregnant.

Parker then dated her former "Weeds" co-star, Jeffery Dean Morgan; however, the couple split this past January.
