Mariah Carey home after contractions force trip to hospital
(CBS) Mariah Carey says her babies wanted to celebrate her birthday so much that they almost came early.

People magazine reports the singer was rushed to the hospital Sunday after she experienced contractions. Carey tweeted, "So #dembabies really wanted 2 celebrate w/us/share the anniversary! I started having contractions last night..went 2 the hospital..."
Over the next couple tweets, Carey explained that the contractions were under control and she was released. "[H]appy anniversary in deed!!![sic]"
Carey refers to her birthday as her anniversary. She and husband Nick Cannon were married in April 2008. Carey turned 42 on March 27.
