Manson Murders Film to Focus on Women
PARK CITY, Utah (CBS) Female followers of cult leader Charles Manson will be the focus of her new Manson movie, director Susanna Lo announced this week at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.
Lo, who wrote the screenplay, says production on "Manson Girls" will begin this spring. Lo, for the movie, made the announcement at the Sundance Film Festival.

The cast includes Taryn Manning and Heather Matarazzo.
The Hong Kong-born filmmaker previously directed "Largo," "Black & White: A Love Story," and "Snow Summit Showdown."
Manson and three women followers were convicted in Los Angeles in 1971 of murder and conspiracy in the 1969 slayings of seven people, including actress Sharon Tate.
Manson is serving a life sentence in a California prison.
