Lok reportedly took his school bus home as usual and was dropped off in front of his North Portland home at about 2:15 p.m. Tuesday. He was not reported missing until 5 p.m.

According to CBS affiliate KOIN, detectives working the case said there is no reason to believe this is a stranger abduction case.

Lok is described as a Native American boy, 4 foot 7 inches tall and 80 pounds, who wears thick, black-framed glasses. He has straight, shoulder-length black hair and brown eyes.

Lok was last seen wearing an orange t-shirt, khaki cargo shorts and his glasses.

A Facebook page was already created to help find the 11-year-old, and said that his ather and grandfather were working on fliers.

The case is reminiscent of that of Kyron Horman, now 8, who's been missing since attending a school science fair at his school in Portland on June 4.

Anyone with information about Lok's current whereabouts is urged to contact Portland Police Department Detective Mike Weinstein at 503-823-0446.
