Lisney Oliveira Murdered Over Cigarette; Killed on Way to Miami Nightclub

MIAMI (CBS/WFOR/AP) A 26-year-old Boca Raton man was killed by a man who punched him after asking for a cigarette, according to officials.

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the assailant.

According to police, Lisney Oliveira and a friend were walking towards a club Monday morning at around 5:30 a.m. when a man approached them and asked if they had a cigarette.

Police say Oliveira and his friend tried to keep walking after telling the assailant they had no cigarettes, but the man dropped Oliveira to the ground with one punch.

The friend said Oliveira's head violently knocked the sidewalk as he fell.

Linsey Oliveira died early Monday at Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital.
