Lindsay Lohan's Home Burglarized, Was it an "Inside Job?"

LOS ANGELES (CBS/AP) A publicist for Lindsay Lohan says the "Mean Girls" actress' home in the Hollywood Hills has been burglarized.

Spokeswoman Leslie Sloane-Zelnik says Lohan's home was broken into Sunday while the actress and her younger sister, Ali, were away.

Lohan's father, Michael, told gossip Web site TMZ that a safe was ripped off the wall and a couple of watches were taken. He said he believes it's "an inside job" because the people that work for Lindsay failed to turn the alarm on.

"I am not going to put up with individuals violating my family," Michael Lohan said. "Lindsay is a charitable, generous person that always gives. This is a personal violation and it has got to stop."

While Sloane-Zelnik said many of Lohan's "personal belongings were taken without remorse," authorities are still investigating whether any items were actually taken, according to Los Angeles police Officer Norma Eisenman.

Sloane-Zelnik says police have been given the security surveillance video from Lohan's home.

Lohan's home was broken into this past May as well, according to police.
