NEW YORK (CBS/WCBS/AP) NFL Hall of Fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor was indicted Wednesday after being accused of rape last month.

Taylor was indicted on six charges including rape, endangering the welfare of a child and patronizing a prostitute.

The former new York Giants star is accused of raping a 16-year-old girl last month at a Holiday Inn Hotel in a Rockland County, N.Y. town.

The indictment also alleges that Taylor paid the teenager $300 after the sex acts.

The alleged victim told investigators she was threatened and physically assaulted by another individual before being taken to the hotel room.

The victim told investigators her pimp had her tell the football star that she was 19-years-old, according to court documents.

CBS affiliate WCBS obtained a copy of the criminal complaint filed against Rasheed Davis, the man who police said beat the teenage runaway before driving her to the Holiday Inn Holidome Hotel where Taylor was staying early last May.

The criminal complaint refers to the teen as "Victim-1," while referring to Taylor as "Client-1."

In the complaint, the teen told police that Davis offered her a place to stay for $150 a week and told her she could make money as a prostitute. The teen said Davis would charge potential clients $80 for oral sex and $150 for sexual intercourse.

The teen also said Davis gave her marijuana and the drug commonly known as "ecstasy" before meeting with clients.

If convicted, Taylor faces a maximum of 4 years in state prison.
