Lady Gaga Falls In Jerky Wardrobe at London Airport

NEW YORK (CBS) Looks like those elaborate get-ups have become a trip-up for pop star Lady Gaga.

"Splat" was the figurative word for the 24-year-old who took a tumble in platform boots while walking through London Heathrow Airport on Wednesday.

There were no fans, interviewers or even photographers in her way when she took the spill. The culprit: her sky high black platform boots, which she wore with equally thigh-high black leather chaps and matching hot pants, according to London's Daily Mail newspaper.

The performer wore the strange, not-so-comfortable ensemble while emerging from a cross-Atlantic flight from New York. She may as well have came from Pluto with the outerworldly regalia she donned.

Really, heel-less boots? Surely for all the stylistic chops this girl seems to have, this was clearly a fashion "faux pas."

"Haus of Gaga" creative team, take note. See-through chaps? Maybe. Heel-less boots? Heathrow's terminals flat-out say, 'No.'
