Kevin Federline has landed another acting role, this time as a guest star on the CW's hit drama "One Tree Hill." Britney Spears' former hubby will play Jason, the "cocky, enigmatic front man" for No Means Yes, a rock band from the fictional town of Tree Hill, N.C.

Federline will appear in a multi-episode arc of the show, which returns midseason on the network.

His previous television appearances include an episode of "CSI," a guest spot on the NBC game show "1 vs. 100," and two episodes of "WWE RAW." He also appeared in the 2004 movie "You Got Served."

Spears and Federline officially divorced July 30, but there are still some legal matters being worked out.

Federline's lawyer said last week that Spears' former assistant Shannon Funk was subpoenaed to give a deposition about a "matter related to the Britney Spears-Kevin Federline issue." The lawyer would not give any further details or confirm that her statement was in connection to a custody battle over the couple's two children.

Spears' bodyguard, another former assistant, and even the Promises Treatment Facility — where the pop star stayed for a month earlier this year — have reportedly all been served with papers.
