Karina Valencia: Missing Girl May Be With Someone She Met Online
SYLMAR, Calif. (CBS/KCAL) Authorities Wednesday were searching for a 13-Year-Old girl who may be with someone she met on MySpace.
Karina Valencia's family told the Los Angeles Police Department that she has been missing since Saturday evening.
CBS affiliate KCAL reports Valencia was last seen at a friend's birthday party and has been known to frequent Sylmar Park, as well as the city's library.
She was described as a Latino with long brown hair and brown eyes. She is about 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs roughly 90 pounds.
She was last seen wearing a white "Madonna" shirt and black shorts.
Police urged anyone with information regarding Karina's whereabouts to call the Mission Station at 818-838-9800.
