Kanye West Pops The Question

Let's hope the woman Kanye West is marrying isn't a gold-digger.

Sources have confirmed to People magazine that the rapper is going to take the plunge with his girlfriend, Alexis.

No word on the future bride's last name or what she does for a living.

West, 29, proposed to his sweetie while overseas for two weeks recently, People reports.

A source tells the magazine that Alexis became West's girlfriend prior to his October 2002 near-fatal car accident.

This will be the first marriage for the Grammy-winning rapper and producer.
