Jason Schwartzman and Wife Welcome a Daughter

NEW YORK (CBS) Jason Schwartzman is taking on a new role - fatherhood.

The "Bored to Death" actor and wife, Brady Cunningham, are now parents to daughter Marlowe Rivers Schwartzman.

The actor's rep told People magazine on Monday that the baby was born on Dec. 4 in Los Angeles.

"I'm lucky I found a woman that I love and that's amazing," Schwartzman, 30, told the magazine in September.

"I'm having a family and I feel very happy. I try to be a good father-to-be. I try to treat my wife well [so she can] enjoy these months."

The actor announced his wife was expecting in August. He and Cunningham, a fashion designer, married in July 2009.
