Industry Moves: SheKnows' CEO Meyers Jumps Ship To Head New Glam Media; Acquisition Binge Ahead?

Fashion and lifestyle media web publisher Glam Media has tapped Mike Meyers, who has defected from his post as president and CEO of rival SheKnow.com, to serve as VP & GM of the company's new channel Glam Family. The new family vertical site will launch sometime in Q3, with a focus on all things parenting, pregnancy and baby-relatedareas that have been a particular focus of SheKnows' recent string of acquisitions, which this month included the additions of sites like ChefMom, PregnancyFashion.com and CelebrityPregnancy.com.
At SheKnows, Meyers oversaw that spate of acquisitions, which has some of us here wondering: will Glam initiate a buying binge for Glam Family?
