If Fever Ray's song "The Wolf" is a clue, "Red Riding Hood" is pretty dark
(CBS) "Red Riding Hood" comes out Friday, March 11. It's easy to be skeptical. The movie is directed by Catherine Hardwicke ("Twilight"). But it's written by David Johnson, whose "Orphan" was way better than it had any right to be.
And now Disco Naivete has posted Fever Ray's song "The Wolf," a dark dirge of a tune that's haunting and beautifully creepy. And if the song is beautifully creepy, maybe the movie's beautifully creepy...or at least better than the trailers look.
