Hot Fashions For Winter Coats

Glamour magazine goes down the runway to show you how to look good this winter. On The Saturday Early Show, executive fashion director Suze Yalof Schwarz showed off some cool coats to keep you warm.

Coats made a huge comeback on the runways this season, Schwarz explains. They were slimmer, longer, brighter and sexier than they have been in years.

The classic longer coat was well represented but with a new length, just below the knees, adds Schwarz.

According to Schwarz, coats are coming in a variety of fabrics including traditional wool, camel and leather. But now polyester is also big because it doesn't wrinkle. And shearling coats dyed in a variety of colors are also very popular.

Color is also big in other styles as well. Schwarz says that along with the traditional black, she is seeing a lot of pastel colors that brighten things up.

Schwarz says to remember that buying a coat is an investment. It is the one piece you will wear everywhere for several months at a time.
