Holiday Weekend Music Round-Up: 4th of July edition

(CBS News) While it may not be Friday yet, today is the 4th of July. For many that means an extended break from work, so with that in mind: it's time for The Feed's Holiday Weekend Music Round-Up! Up first on our playlist is an band I've been hooked on for years now. Click play to check out the brand-new music video for Phoenix's song "Trying To Be Cool" above.

With a mellow, but very catchy tune you can totally move to and surreal photo shoot theme, much like their namesake, they rise to the occasion spectacularly (as always!) with their latest!

For our next item up, we shift from a band I've loved for years to one I've become obsessed with since catching. (I have seriously watched their video a few dozen times this past week!) You may not be familiar with them, but you're bound to become a huge fan, too, after you watch and listen to Husbands' music video for "You, Me, Cellphones" directed by Cauboyz above.

And while some could argue our last video is a fit for visual artistry and musical mastery blended together, there's another that caught my eye this week. In fact, in an unprecedented first, one half of this duo was featured in this very spot for our last Weekend Music Round-Up. If you have a passion for amazing music and fascination with Rube Goldberg devices like your blogger here, you're going to dig A-Trak & Tommy Trash's "Tuna Melt" directed by Ryan Staake up next.

Finally, for our big finale, we focus our attention on a time period in full swing right now: wedding season! It seems that a Maid of Honor has gone and upped the ante for all those out there who are given the time-honored position. Watch as Jennifer Gabrielli turns her wedding toast into an epic rap based on Eminem with our final music clip posted by Benny Ek Media at the bottom.

And with that, I hope you're celebrating an amazing 4th of July, have a great holiday weekend, and make sure to keep coming back to The Feed for all your viral (and music) video needs!
