RENO -- Hillary Clinton brushed off Donald Trump’s statement on Wednesday night that she is a “bigot who sees people of color only as votes.”
“He is taking a hate movement mainstream,” she told CNN’s Anderson Cooper in a phone interview.
“He has brought it into his campaign,” she said on “Anderson Cooper 360.” “He is bringing it to our communities and our country.”
Clinton said that Trump hasand “courted white supremacists” and proven that he “is very much peddling bigotry and prejudice and paranoia.” Her response to Trump comes the day before she is set that will tie Trump and his campaign advisors to the so-called ‘alt-right’ political philosophy.
According to her campaign, Clinton “will contrast Donald Trump’s divisive views and dangerous temperament with her vision of an America that is stronger together and where everyone has a role to play in the future.”
