Great Drugstore Beauty Buys

Do you think that looking good has to cost a lot of money? Beauty consultant Dayle Haddon visits The Early Show to share a few products that prove that assumption wrong.

With the rising costs of beauty products, it's good to know you can still find good quality bargains at the drugstore. Haddon's tips can help most people look and feel good for less than $10, $5 -- even as little as $3.

She suggests mixing department store and drugstore brands. Drugstore brands have maintain their longevity because they are some of the best products in the market, she explains — even beauty businesses that have the option to use more expensive brands choose the drugstore brands.

Haddon suggest the following beauty products for under $10:

  • L'Oreal Active Daily Moisture Lotion
    Haddon says the lotion is an excellent moisturizer for the face and neck. She warns that the number 1 beauty tip is to wear sunscreen and take care of your skin by washing and moisturizing regularly.
  • ColorSpa - Garren Anecdote
    Haddon says this hair color is terrific, gentle on hair and long lasting. It washes out with 20 shampoos, so there is not a long term commitment.
  • Maybelline Great Lash Mascara
    Many makeup artists use this mascara, says Haddon. It is a classic mascara and a top product in the beauty industry mad of a lash-doubling formula.
