Does winter have you feeling a little rundown? A vacation is a great way to recharge your battery.

Now's a good time to take advantage of some amazing hotel deals, according to Travel & Leisure magazine Senior Editor Nilou Motamed, who suggested several appealing destinations, warm and cold, where the welcome mat is out:

Santa Fe, N.M.: Ski, Dine, & Unwind package at La Posada de Santa Fe Resort & Spa . Three nights, a daily pair of half-day lift tickets for nearby Ski Santa Fe ski park, lunch for two at the property's Fuego restaurant, and one 60-minute massage of your choice, per person. Cost: from $740, double, through April 2.

Bahamas: Old Bahama Bay Resort & Yacht Harbor has a special offer called the "28 days of Valentines" that includes 35 percent off accommodations in a junior suite throughout February. Cost: from $279 a night, double occupancy.

The Adirondacks, N.Y.: Lake Placid Lodge is offering an amazing 60 percent off regular rates. This luxury getaway, which is on Travel & Leisure's list of the 500 best hotels in the world, now has lake-view cabins starting at $325 (as opposed to the usual $700 rate).

Charleston, S.C.: Battery Carriage House Inn rooms start at $149 a night, double. A great value, and they frequently have last-minute specials if you call the hotel directly. The hotels also offers a "ghost adventure package" that includes two nights in a carriage house, a ghost walking tour, a private carriage ride of historic areas and more for $425.

Lisbon: Air Portugal has a special offer on flights from New York to Lisbon. Round-trip flights from New York City start at $530. Stay at the stylishly simple NH Liberdade, where rooms start at $203, double.

Belize: Blancaneaux Lodge in the Cayo District is a good value for a warm weather escape. Cabanas at this resort start at $210 a night.
