(CBS) "Raising Hope" star Garret Dillahunt accidentally brought a knife through airport security - and then came clean about the mistake on Twitter.

"Oops. Walked right through airport security with this little number," he wrote, posting a photo of the knife. (Scroll down to see the photo.)

The knife should have been confiscated, People magazine notes, and the actor was not arrested for any wrongdoing.

"The Office" actor Rainn Wilson, however, declared that action should have been taken. "Arrest this tweeter!" he posted on his own Twitter account.

Dillahunt responded to Wilson by writing, "If I ever get outta this there will be a reckoning. It was a misTAKE, all right? I'm a whittler, plain and simple."
