"I know he was having an affair," Carla Burgos told Radar Online. "And she found out."

Bruce Beresford-Redman is at the center of an investigation into the death of his restaurateur wife.

He has been described as a nice guy who was frequently away from his family while working on television series as CBS' long-running "Survivor" and ABC's zany driving game show "Crash Course," according to the Associated Press. He also worked on "Pimp My Ride," for MTV.

Monica Beresford-Redman's body was found Thursday in a sewer at the swanky Moon Palace resort where the family was staying in Cancun, Mexico, according to Bello Rodriguez, the attorney general for Quintana Roo state, where Cancun is located.

Rodriguez said a security guard saw the couple arguing Monday night and said he saw Bruce Beresford-Redman try to hit his wife.

Bruce Beresford-Redman was released from police custody Friday morning, but is not allowed to leave the country. He remains a suspect in his wife's murder.

Carla Burgos' full interview is at Radar Online.
