Food Fight! Celebrity Chef Todd English's Ex Arrested In Assault
NEW YORK (CBS/AP) Someone hide the kitchen knives!!!
The former fiancee of celebrity chef Todd English has been arrested on assault charges for allegedly throwing a watch at him during a fight.
Erica Wang turned herself in to police Friday and was awaiting arraignment.
Police say the two were fighting Sept. 14 when she threw the watch, hitting English in the corner of his eye. The wound required seven stitches.
The couple was scheduled to be married last week. English called it off days before, claiming Wang was abusive. She denied those claims in an interview with The New York Post.
It wasn't clear if Wang had a lawyer. Calls to English's representative weren't returned.
English has been a guest on Bravo's "Top Chef." He is the owner of the Olives chain, and other restaurants.
