(CBS) WATERFORD TWP, Mich. - Five people were shot Friday morning at a roller-skating rink during a holiday party in a town about 45 minutes outside of Detroit.

CBS Detroit reports Kurt Anselmi, co-owner of Rolladium, which is the skating rink where the incident occurred, said the shooting happened at about 1:45 a.m. as an 18 and over party was coming to an end.

"As people were leaving, a fight broke out inside and from what we can tell from the videos, the shooters came in the exit doors as people were leaving, just walked into the area where you can first turn to the skating surface, fired a number of shots, we don't know how many, and turned around and ran out," Anselmi said.

Despite the fact that the skating rink has a surveillance system, Anselmi said he is not positive the cameras caught everything, including good pictures of their faces and what they were wearing.

He also explained that at the point in time the shooting occurred, the men were not in front of the cameras.

"They go off camera, they shoot and it all takes place within a matter of seconds," Anselmi said.

Police are now searching for three suspects. The victims' conditions are not known, but their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Anselmi said they have not had any trouble like this at the rink since 1970.
