Family Affair: Florida Teen Orders Brother to Kill Boyfriend, Say Cops
JUPITER, Fla. (AP) Authorities say a South Florida teen has been arrested for ordering her brother to kill her boyfriend before he carried out the attack.
U.S. Marshals arrested 16-year-old Shanovia Mack at Jupiter High School last Thursday in the slaying of Vladimir Valcourt.
Authorities say after the two got into an argument Sept. 6 she called on her brother, Adrian Leebrent Hunter, to kill Valcourt. Investigators say Hunter was beating a friend of Valcourt's with a gun when it went off and struck Valcourt.
He died in the front yard of his home while his mother slept upstairs.
Hunter was arrested Sept. 16. He is charged with first-degree felony murder. Mack is charged with second-degree murder and aggravated battery.
