Fab.com gets a gorgeous mobile app
(CBS) - Interior design lovers have another reason to be addicted to their phones.
Daily design sale site Fab.com launched mobile apps today for iOS devices and Android phones. The site offers a thoughtfully curated collection of unique and offbeat products for homes.
It's pretty bold for a site to call itself Fab, but they've certainly earned their name. We just love the site's eye-candy factor and that translates nicely to the mobile apps.
Flash-sale site Fab.com opens virtual pop-up shop with Fast Company
Fab's Chief Executive Officer, Jason Goldberg, told us they wanted to create the experience to feel more like a magazine than an online shop. He said users have even described their daily emails like reading Dwell magazine. We agree.
It seems to be a winning formula. The site has already garnered over 750,000 members and 3 million monthly visits in just four months.
The Fab.com app is available on iPad, iPhone and Android phones. There are plans for an app for Android tablets, but no release date has been confirmed.
