Erbert and Gerbert's Sandwich Delivery Driver Nabbed Twice in One Night For DUI
WINONA, Minn. (CBS/AP) Police said a delivery driver for a Minnesota sandwich shop was cited for drinking and driving - twice in one night.
Police told the Winona Daily News the 19-year-old was drunk Saturday, when on a delivery for Erbert and Gerbert's Sandwich Shop, he parked in the middle of the street and turned off his lights, and a taxi nearly struck his car.
Officers contacted his manager, who said he wouldn't make any more deliveries that night.
Police cited the driver for underage drinking and released him, telling him not to drive. But police said they later spotted him driving a different vehicle, and still drunk.
Police said this time he was arrested for underage drinking and driving, and taken to jail.
