EconHealth: Today In New York

This story was written by Staci D. Kramer.
It's been a crazy New York week for our team: David at AdAge confab, Rafat speaking at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse (check out the Larry Kramer War Room where he spoke...coincidence that Kramer is on our board), Joe and I at the digital conversation bash at the Hearst Tower with True Ventures, Hearst Interactive, GigaOm, Sphere, *NYTCo*, Automattic, and, of course, tons of meetings. (Then there was my all-too-brief encounter with Peter O'Toole but that's another story.)

The real event of the week for us, though, is our first Economics of Health Media conference, Thursday afternoon at TheTimesCenter. We saved some tickets for walkups; you can register online until on-site registration begins at 1. The half-day conference runs from 1:30-5 PM, kicking off with a keynote interview with Steve Case (feel free to send questions to staci AT and continuing with three sessions. We're looking forward to an energetic afternoon of discussion. More details at
