EconAds: New Q&A Added: Jo Ann Ross, President, Network Sales, CBS

This story was written by Staci D. Kramer.

We're pleased to announce the addition of Jo Ann Ross, president of network sales for CBS (NYSE: CBS), to the speaker lineup for our upcoming EconAds June 3rd in New York. CBS made a big splash last week with its $1.8 billion deal to acquire CNET (NSDQ: CNET) Networks, a move the company expects to add greatly to its online ad sales. That news came the day after the CBS upfront, where CBS Interactive played a significant roleand just before the unveiling of the CBS Sports Media Network, a new ad net aimed at males. Ross will give us the top-line view from the media company perspective: how interactive fits in to the upfront, the status of cross-platform selling, the role of ad networks, and as much as she can about CNET given that the deal has yet to close.
