Boston bombing trial resumes after snow delay

BOSTON - Jury selection is back on in the trial of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev after a two-day delay because of heavy snow.

Tsarnaev is charged in the 2013 attack that killed three people and injured more than 260. Jury selection in Tsarnaev's federal death penalty trial began Jan. 5.

Jury selection was canceled Monday and Tuesday after a snowstorm dumped up to 2 feet of snow on Massachusetts. On Wednesday, Judge George O'Toole Jr. was expected to question 21 prospective jurors individually.

Tsarnaev's lawyers have argued that he cannot receive a fair trial in Boston because of the emotional impact of the bombing and the personal connections many people have to the marathon and the injured.

O'Toole has rejected three defense requests to move the trial.
