Police investigating Clark's disappearance say a blank text message was sent from his cell phone at 2:40 a.m. on Sept. 26.

That's about 40 minutes after the 18-year-old left a party where he was last seen, and headed back to his dorm.

The Bellingham Herald reports police believe the message was sent from the downtown area.

Police and volunteers continue to search for the teen from Auburn, Wash. who arrived for his freshman year about a week before he went missing.

A $14,000 reward has been offered for information that helps find Clark.

Anyone with information about the disappearance is urged to call the Bellingham Police Department at 360-778-8835.
