Drew Peterson

JOLIET, Ill. (AP) There's another new judge in Drew Peterson's murder case. Two weeks ago the prosecution requested that the original trial judge be replaced. The defense, in turn, asked for a new judge of their own.

So judge number two, Carla Alessio-Policandriotes, is out. And judge number three, Stephen White, is in.

White scheduled a court date Wednesday to hear other motions, including a state request to seal discovery. Peterson was at Monday's hearing.

Kathleen Savio. Her death was originally ruled a suicide. He's charged with first-degree murder in the 2004 death of his third wife, Kathleen Savio. The former Bolingbrook police officer pleaded not guilty. He's jailed on $20 million bond.
