Davis is charged with assault, armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a weapon following the shooting that took place on Tuesday at All Cuts Barber Shop in Wentzville, just outside of St. Louis.

Before the incident took place, a patron at the barber shop reportedly commented that the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School made him want to kill the suspect. For what police say are as-yet unknown reasons, Davis apparently took the comment as a threat. He reportedly asked the patron, "You want to murder me?"

Davis then allegedly went to his car, retrieved a pistol and fired three times in the customer's direction. No one was hurt.

Davis turned himself into police and is jailed $400,000 bond.
