Diaper fetish lands former Dallas school employee Thomas Roussin an 11 year prison sentence
(CBS) DALLAS - A former employee of the Dallas Independent School District with a diaper fetish was sentenced to over 11 years in federal prison late last week for transporting and shipping child pornography, according to CBS Dallas.
Thomas Roussin, who worked for the Dallas school system in an unspecified role, pleaded guilty for the offense on December 2011 and will face 135 months in federal prison. Roussin, 46, will then face five years of supervised release.
During a September 2011 investigation, an undercover Plano officer discovered that Roussin was using a peer-to-peer file sharing network to download and share lewd photos of young nude boys, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's Office.
When FBI agents searched his home and seized several computers and equipment, Roussin admitted to being a paid subscriber to the file sharing program for several years and traded images "with about 30 friends," according to court records. He also admitted his primary interest was viewing children in diapers.
According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, the case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative led by the Department of Justice to better locate and prosecute individuals who exploit children via the Internet, as well as identify and rescue victims.
