Derrell Johnson-Koulianos Arrested: DJK Faces Drug Charges

IOWA CITY, Iowa (CBS/AP/KGAN) Derrell Johnson-Koulianos, University of Iowa's all-time receiving leader, has been busted on drug charges, including possession of controlled substances, keeping a drug house and unlawful possession of a prescription drug.

The 23-year-old has been suspended indefinitely from all team activities and was released from Johnson County Jail after posting $8,000 bail Tuesday.

He is expected in court later today.

Police say Johnson-Koulianos admitted to using and tested positive for cocaine, reports CBS affiliate KGAN.

Court documents say Johnson-Koulianos was arrested after officers executed a search warrant at his home.

Police say investigators found more than $3,000 in cash, marijuana, cocaine and prescription drugs.

Iowa Head Coach Kirk Ferentz says he was "highly disappointed to learn of the charges" against "DJK."

The senior wide receiver was set to play his final game for the Hawkeyes in the Insight  Bowl on December 28 against Missouri.
