Deena Cortese could face up to 30 days in jail

(CBS News) Deena Cortese could face a fine up to $500 and up to 30 days in jail following her arrest on Sunday, reports the Associated Press.

Detective Steve Korman told the AP Cortese and her fellow "Jersey Shore" cast members were in a Mexican restaurant on Sunday before Cortese went into the roadway and began dancing and impeding traffic.

Shortly after, Cortese, 25, was arrested for disorderly conduct on Sunday in Seaside Heights, N.J. Police said Cortese  appeared to be intoxicated.

She was taken to police headquarters, processed and released. Her parents were spotted picking her up.

Cortese is scheduled to appear in court on July 3, reports Extra.
