Days 68-69: Obama Faces The Nation

(CBS)
President Obama spent most of the 68th and 69th days of his presidency at Camp David, but he made plenty of news over the weekend with an appearance on CBS' "Face The Nation" taped on Friday.

The president said he did not intend to send ground troops to Pakistan; that he is asking bankers to "show restraint"; that he is considering deploying troops to the Mexican border; that U.S. automakers are not where they need to be; and that the presidency has not always been easy on his friendships.

"I don't think I've lost any friends" since coming into office, the president told Bob Schieffer. "But I'm sure I've strained some friendships."
