Dancing With The Stars
It's that time of the week again! Time to watch your favorite celebs shake it!
Let's get to it. There are 9 teams left to compete. This week they are performing a tango or a jive.
Up first is Emmitt doing the tango. I just have to say his partner Cheryl looks great! Her outfit is killer and she's got these extensions in and I love it. The judges didn't like it; they thought technically it was off and he lost some of his mojo. Scores: Carrie - 7, Len - 6, Bruno - 6.
High school musical star Monique is doing the jive. Her mom has flown in just to see her perform. They were incredible, so much energy, great tricks, and just fun to watch. My favorite of the night. Scores: Carrie - 9; Len - 9; Bruno 9.
Harry Hamlin is doing the tango tonight. The performance was good but he seemed to miss steps a few times. Scores: Carrie - 7; Len - 8; Bruno - 7.
Bad girl of pop Willa Ford is hoping to pull herself out of the bottom two with a jive. She looks adorable in a sailor outfit and to be honest she didn't deserve to be in the bottom two the last few weeks; she's a good dancer. I think she just lacks a large fan base. The judges were lukewarm about it and they also did a lift which isn't allowed in this dance. Scores: Carrie - 7; Len - 7; Bruno - 8.
Fan favorite Jerry Springer is attempting the tango. His main goal is to make it to the waltz which is next week. Jerry's partner Kym has him playing a James Bond role for the dance. It was entertaining and fun, nothing too technically challenging but enjoyable. Scores Carrie - 7; Len - 7; Bruno - 7.
Country star Sara is doing the jive. I was worried she might bust out of the top she was wearing! Their jive had some country flavor which was perfect for her. Scores: Carrie - 8; Len - 9; Bruno - 8.
Mario Lopez is doing the tango. He was great as usual, the dance was super sexy and was filled with emotion like the tango should be. Excellent. The judges scold them for breaking the hold during the dance, which again is breaking the rules like they did last week. I don't get it. They are so good why don't they just follow the darn rules?
Scores: Carrie - 8; Len - 6; Bruno - 8. Both Carrie and Bruno say it would have been a ten if they didn't break the rules.
Vivica does the tango major justice tonight. Upon judge Carrie's recomendation she took some ballet classes the week of rehearsal. She has just become a front runner to me. Scores: Carrie - 9; Len - 9; Bruno - 9.
Joey closes the show tonight with an Elvis-inspired jive. They also broke the rules with a lift. I don't get it. They saw Mario get reamed about doing lifts so they had time to cut it out of their routine. Why didn't they? Scores: Carrie - 8; Len - 6; Bruno - 8.
Wednesday night we see who gets booted.
