Dancing With The Stars

Shake, shake, shake it tonight with the remaining seven teams on "Dancing With The Stars."

And I am actually watching the show live so I promise no TiVo malfunctions because the show actually runs to 9:31 p.m. Why do the networks do that? Is it to really make us angry or just to force us to watch live so we have to suffer through the commercials? Ah, who cares, on with the show!

Tonight is Latin night. Gee, Mario is lucky, isn't he? Teams will be dancing the samba or the rumba, except a lot of booty shaking and sexy costumes. The samba is a carnival party dance and the rumba is the dance of love and seduction.

First up is Joey doing the samba. They danced it up to a cover of George Michaels "Freedom" and they looked great and like they were having a real fun time. Joey spun his partner Edyta around and it was so fast I thought she was going to spin out of the studio.

Carrie for some reason says she saw a lot of mistakes and it wasn't her favorite dance of theirs, but let's be honest — she's a little harsh on the dancers all the time. Scores: Carrie 8, Len 8, Bruno 9.

Willa was a hit last week with the judges. Will she hold up this week with the rumba? Out of all the partnerships, I enjoy her relationship with her partner, Makism. They are funny, candid and real. It's refreshing. They had more chemistry than any partnership I have seen on this show, plus they did this sundial type move at the end that was incredible. She looked classy, and they looked fluid, wonderful! Scores: Carrie 9, Len 9, Bruno 9.

Sara Evans is going to attempt the samba. Last week she wasn't a hit with the judges and I think this is her week to make it or break it.

To be honest, and you know I am always honest, her dancing looks like she is a caged bird. So conservative. I think she really needed to let loose this week and she didn't. In my opinion, the only thing that can save her from being in the bottom tomorrow is if the other performers tank, and she gets a lot of phone in votes. Scores: Carrie 8, Len 8,
Bruno 8.

Latin lover Mario is dancing the rumba. Can he live up to his own hype? Let me just say, though, I think him and Karina have a bit of a real love connection. Imagine what those babies would look like! It was an intense dance and the judges and audience loved it — and me, too. Scores: Carrie 9, Len 9, Bruno 9. Tied with Willa.

Springer is trying the best with the samba, which is clearly not his dance based on his rehearsals. So his partner, Kym, gives him a spray tan-classic! It wasn't technically the best, as always, but it was fun — and his dances never lack fun. Scores: Carrie 8, Len 8, Bruno 8. Jerry's best score ever!

Monique was in the bottom two last week despite how much the judges loved her last dance, and she is back to do the rumba. She is a good dancer but, honestly, I got bored during her performance and starting surfing the gossip site www.perezhilton.com. Maybe it's just me, but that's the truth. Scores: Carrie 9, Len 9, Bruno 9. The judges are being extra kind tonight, might I say!

Last up is Emmitt dancing the samba. The samba is a lot of hip action, which might be a problem for Emmitt who is not used to using his hips this way ever! His hips did him good tonight, though. He did a great job and really looked like he enjoyed shaking his rump shaker all over the floor.

Judge Len said it was the best samba tonight (I think that's a little dramatic), Bruno and Carrie both loved it to. Scores: Carrie 9, Len 9, Bruno 9.

Vote for your favorites and I will meet you here for the results show tomorrow.
