Damien Hollis, NYC man, allegedly raped woman after showing a police shield

(CBS/AP) NEW YORK - New York City police say they arrested a 21-year-old man for allegedly raping a woman after impersonating a police officer.

According to police, on May 29, 2012, Damien Hollis approached a 26-year-old woman in Brooklyn and displayed a police shield.

Police say Hollis then brandished a firearm and forced the woman to walk to Lincoln Terrace Park where he allegedly raped her. He fled after taking the woman's cell phone, police say.

Hollis was charged Friday with rape, committing a criminal sexual act and criminal impersonation.
